"Rahela was able to identify the smallest breakdowns in my process and the smallest assumptions I was making… One of the best investments I made in my law school application process."
I would ABSOLUTELY recommend working with Rahela! I started out with a more hands-off program which was really great and allowed me to move consistently into the mid/high 160s. But I felt really, really stuck there. I felt like I was taking all of the advice for review and practice but I wasn't able to fully break into the 170s before I started having sessions with Rahela.
She was able to identify the smallest breakdowns in my process and the smallest assumptions I was making and then help me address them so that I could move faster and with more confidence through each question.
One thing that is unique to Rahela's approach is how she thought through the test. With other tutors or friends, they would work on either timing strategies or small details in the questions. Rahela was able to help me think about both of these concepts at the same time which is what I ultimately credit to being able to score highly on the exam.
I also want to say that it felt like Rahela truly cared about me and the outcome of my score. Every single minute of the session felt planned and thought through, and it didn't feel like I was just being pushed through a generic lesson plan.
Before committing to private tutoring with Rahela (because it is expensive!), I tried two other tutoring services which really, really illuminated how great Rahela was for me. One of the best investments I made in my law school application process.
Update: I have gotten into UChicago, UPenn, UCLA, and USC! I'm on the waitlist at Harvard and waiting for a few more decisions + scholarship offers!
"A major turning point in my preparation was learning her approach of 'shallow dipping' into answer choices before committing to a deep analysis — it significantly improved both my accuracy and efficiency."
I would highly recommend working with Rahela for the LSAT. She has a great ability to teach from the student perspective, anticipating where confusion might arise, addressing it directly, and making complex concepts feel manageable.
A major turning point in my preparation was learning her approach of "shallow dipping" into answer choices before committing to a deep analysis — it significantly improved both my accuracy and efficiency.
I began working with Rahela after hitting a major plateau later in my studies, and with her guidance, I was able to break through and improve by a very valuable 3 points on my LSAT.
"After spending over 6 months studying with two different prep courses without any score improvement, I was exhausted and nearly gave up. Studying with Rahela changed everything."
As a non-traditional student who has been out of school for over a decade, the LSAT was extremely difficult for me — I couldn't even understand what the test was about and had to start from scratch. After spending over 6 months studying with two different prep courses without any score improvement, I was exhausted, felt devastated, lost all confidence in myself, and nearly gave up on the LSAT.
Studying with Rahela changed EVERYTHING. I am so grateful to have met such a kind and exceptional tutor like Rahela. Rahela truly cares about her students. From the very first session, she immediately recognized what I was struggling with and worked very closely with me.
Not only is she knowledgeable, but she also knows exactly how to teach in a way that makes sense to me and fits how I learn best. After working with Rahela, I began to see test patterns, became faster, and much more comfortable with reading in general, and ended up improving my score by 8 points!
I now enjoy reading and often think about the skills I gained from the LSAT prep, which I know will be invaluable in law school. Thank you, Rahela, for all your support and guidance throughout this journey!
